Our
Story
In a year of social unrest and a pandemic, which have been particularly devastating to the restaurant community. Fishnet Owner, Keyia Yalcin, thought that we should all just take a day to celebrate and be joyful while supporting Black Owned Restaurants in the process.
What better way to do this then on Juneteenth! Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of Slavery in the United States.

With the help of Baltimore area creatives and local restaurants, we are happy to present a virtual dance party that you can view on June 18th and June 19th when you shop at one of the participating restaurants. Shopping at one of the participating restaurants will give you a virtual ticket that you can use to stream four hours of pre-recorded music and watch live scenes from our Juneteenth party.

Since life is slowly starting to return to normal, we are happy to host hopefully one of the last virtual dance parties of 2021 so that you can celebrate with us from a distance.

In addition to shopping at one of the participating restaurants, we are also raising funds so that each restaurant can receive a marketing grant to continue to market their businesses.
We hope that you support this cause and we can't wait to party with you virtually!
